Requirements:

VW RNS-510 / koda RNS Columbus. Software / Firmware 5238 or higher.

This update only works on units B and C RNS 510.

To install from SD card you must have Software version 5238 or higher.

Older drives cannot support updating the new disk.

Note that firmware update V5238 is only for RNS510 units not RNS810.

To check the software version;

In your navigation unit, press and hold the SETUP button for approximately 8 seconds.

The advanced RADIO SERVICE MODE menu will appear.

Click on version information "SW Version".

If AM or FM is displayed, it means that the unit has never been updated and it is necessary to update the firmware.
